Nurturing Success Amid Challenges
Having launched our first season in 2017, we were delighted to win our first Traveler’s Choice Award In 2020, after many years of hard work and dedication. Unfortunately, as with so many businesses in the travel sector, the arrival of Covid-19 shortly thereafter had a devastating impact on our business, with In & Beyond Bath unable to trade for two full years, and on the verge of going under. It was a really tough time, not knowing if the company would survive when we so desperately wanted it to, in order to provide the kind of service we know our guests love and are looking for.
In March 2022 we began trading again, and that year saw the return of overseas visitors coming back to the UK. It was a pleasure to engage with, and see the smiling faces of our lovely guests again, making new, personal and meaningful connections with you.
We’re so delighted to be here still, after the storm, back on track and excited to share the best and breadth of our region, the must-sees and the unseen, with more curious, inquisitive visitors looking to go beyond, and really connect with the best authentic England has to offer.

Since our first Travellers’ Choice award in 2020, we are so proud to have welcomed highly valued, exceptional new members to the team. These include, Will who joined us in 2021 and works behind the scenes as a digital marketer and our Creative producer, making all of our videos, social media posts and public-facing materials.
Of course, our guides are critical to our success and it is they who really ensure that our business and approach to touring truly stands out. We, therefore, are hugely appreciative to Max, Roland, Julie, Nigel and both of our Jules’ for being such incredible human beings and doing such an amazing job.
Most of all though, we would like to thank you, our guests, supporters, travel trade partners and advocates, who had supported us through the good times and the bad, and continue to provide us with the motivation to continue. Thank you to you all.
