Two Superb Day Tours with this Top-Notch Team!
We had two incredible full-day tours with In & Beyond Bath. One was a tour/transfer which immersed us in Stonehenge, Avebury, neolithic history, and the English countryside on a journey from Southampton to Bath. The second was a tour/transfer which brought us across the Southern countryside and coast of Wales on our way from Bath to Cardiff. Each day was amazing, insightful and most enjoyable. We saw wonderful sights (many hidden gems!) and learned a great deal. Also, with In & Beyond Bath, there's always a great opportunity for an authentic local food experience. Our guides, Max and Simon, were superb - gracious, wise and witty. We've done many tours on international trips; the two days with In & Beyond Bath rank at the top of our experiences. We highly recommend this terrific team for your next tour/transfer/adventure.

Extraordinary transfer and tour!  Max picked us on arrival in Southampton from a cruise - and we had an unforgettable day visiting Salisbury, Stonehenge, Avebury, and the local areas en route to Bath.  Max was just brilliant  - knowledgeable, funny, and very helpful.  We got a quick tour around Bath and recommendations for our visit.  Things were easy to arrange and we were in great hands from start to finish.  We highly recommend this talented and delightful team!

We made the most of our transfer from Southampton to Bath!
Roland was waiting with his van right outside the cruise ship. He is a history teacher! What a perfect tour guide! He taught us so much about the English countryside and Stonehenge. We had an awesome time hearing his stories and historical facts. I highly recommend using In and Beyond Bath for your tour of the English countryside.

We had a wonderful experience traveling from Bath to Windsor with Max. He arrived right on time, helped with our luggage, and was exceptionally friendly—going out of his way to learn all of our names, which was a thoughtful touch.

We were also traveling with our 4-month-old baby, and Max was incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout the journey. Along the way, we visited several sites, including Stonehenge, where he shared a wealth of knowledge that really enhanced the experience. We also stopped in Mells, where Max introduced us to a charming local pub and the village church—both highlights of the day.

We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and personalized experience. It was truly fantastic!

We just had the best day with Max. First day was just transport from airport to hotel but even that was filled with so many tidbits of knowledge that made the drive a joy. Max is an absolute delight. Next day we toured Stonehenge and Bath. It was an exceptional experience because of Max. He is a wealth of knowledge and he truly made our days in the area memorable and fun. Without a doubt, worth every penny. Even our 11 year old son raved about the day and Max! My husband and I are already planning our next vacation to the Cotswolds and saying we have to have Max again. Thank you for a fabulous day!

Jules could not have been more accommodating in creating a custom tour for us. Knowing we had limited time in and around Bath, he organized a wonderful tour with Max our first day and took us himself the next day back to London via Lacock Abbey and Avebury, a sister site to Stonehenge, which we had requested. He is extremely knowledgeable (having taught history), and enjoys equally if not more so connecting with his guests. Not only did he share the history of each site, but also what he finds most fascinating. We learned a lot, we felt we'd made a new friend! Even though our time frame was tight, we never felt rushed. We booked a private tour to pick up our family in Salisbury to see Stonehenge and Avebury, then dropping us off in Bath (along with all our luggage). They were super accommodating, prompt, and communicative.

Simon met us at the train station and was very friendly. He was extremely knowledgable throughout the entire tour, throwing in a few extra sites to see along the way, as well as providing lots of historical information and context.

We had an excellent time and would absolutely book again.

We had the most amazing time! We went on a tour of Bath, a day tour to Wells (plus an extra stop!), and a transfer tour through some amazing sites!  Simon was more than a tour guide, he was a fun friend to have along on our adventure! He made sure we had the best experience and even did some extra research into our interests to make it even more meaningful. He went above and beyond, recommending places to eat and other ideas for our trip after to London. Really fantastic experience!  We booked a "transfer tour" to take us from Bath to our hotel at Heathrow with a day of touring on the way. Our guide/driver, Roland, was so thoughtful before the day, checking in by email to make sure he crafted the perfect day for us.  On the day, he was there even before our pick up time, so there was no waiting around wondering if he'd appear.

Throughout the drive, he shared so much fascinating information and history, and answered all of our random questions with patience and good cheer.  It was like taking a road trip with a favorite friend, and we learned so much!  Pacing was lovely, without too much time just riding along.  We had several walk-abouts along the way and Roland had booked a lovely pub for a tasty lunch at just the right time.

We were delivered to our hotel exactly when promised, without ever feeling rushed when we were interested in spending more time at one sight or another.  This tour really added value to our last day, turning the hassle of getting from Bath to the airport into another day of vacation.  Highly recommend, and should we be back in the area we definitely would book one of the other tours offered by In and Beyond Bath.

Wonderful tour from Bath to our destination
We are from the US and were not planning to drive while in the Cotswolds, for everyone's safety, lol. We booked a few days in Bath but needed to get to our next Airbnb in Stow-in-the-Wold. We booked a guide from In and Beyond Bath for the one way trip and are so thankful we did. Our guide was amazing and tailored our trip to 2 locations we wanted to see. Not only was our guide, Jules, knowledgeable about the area, he was engaging, kind, and booked a wonderful pub for lunch. We didn't have to worry about anything. Would highly recommend. We communicated via email while planning the trip and Jules was very prompt to respond. We had reached out to about 2 or 3 other tours, but this one provided the best response and reasonable pricing for a private tour.
